Context
The Stellar Birthday Calendar celebrates the zodiac sun signs while brining celestial magic and vibrant design into everyday spaces.
Objective
To create an analogue calendar that beautifully combines astrology, mythology, and design, offering a decorative and informative tool for tracking birthdays and exploring the zodiac.
Process + Role
The calendar is divided into twelve pages, each dedicated to a zodiac sign and inspired by the celestial body it is ruled by. Unique colour combinations, symbols, constellations, and the brightest star och each sign are featured prominently on the front. The back of each page provides engaging insights, including mythology, stellar facts, and zodiac characteristics. The introduction offers an accessible guide to zodiac symbolization, planetary movements, and the interaction between signs.
Result
The Stellar Birthday Calendar is a practical yet enchanting piece that adds colour and cosmic energy to any room. It serves as a functional tool and a captivating decorative elements, inviting curiousity and appreciation for astrology.
